This graph is drawn from data taken daily from ftp://whois.6bone.net/6bone/6bone.db.gz. Thanks to Matthias Hilbig for pointing out to me the most current location of 6bone.db.gz.

A few words: This graph is the result of a set of Perl and shell scripts. The GIF output is the result taken from the Graphviz tools for viewing and interacting with graph diagrams. It was made as a means to display the complexity of the 6Bone. Several people have asked for a geographic topology also, I think this is going to have to wait. It is not something that is hacked up in 15 minutes.

Graphviz currently has three tools that can be used to visualize a graph: dot (actually the graph bellow), neato and twopi.

This set of tools runs unmodified since August 1998.
1999/12/31 - I left NTUA-NOC and moved the tools to DBnet .
2001/03/01 - I am again a NTUA-NOC staff memeber.
2002/03/31 - Left the NTUA-NOC again. Waiting to be called up for my (obligatory) Army service. Yet, this 6Bone map still works without any software changes.
2006/06/09 - 6BONE phased out at 2006/06/06. This graph will no longer be maintained.
