Short Bio
I obtained my Diploma on Electrical and Computer Engineering and my PhD in Computer Science from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2000 and 2004, respectively. My advisor was Prof. Timos Sellis. Following that, I worked for one year as a researcher in the Knowledge and Database Systems Lab (KDBSL) of the NTUA and as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Peloponnese (UoP) in Greece. Afterwards, I was a PostDoc research fellow at the Computer Science group at IBM's Almaden Research Center (ARC) and a visitor at Infolab at Stanford University. Currently, I am a member of the Intelligent Information Management Lab (IIML group) at HP Labs, Palo Alto, California, USA.
